Volunteer

Everyone has a skill, and if you’re reliable and willing to give your time, we can use your help:

  • Outreach to trail users
  • Events/publicity/food
  • Trails/weeds/equipment
  • Photography/video/graphics
  • Social media/awareness

A few hours can make a difference! Let us know if you can help. Sign up here or send an email to info@foystoblacktailtrails.org and we’ll put you on FTBT’s volunteer list.

There are group volunteer days for National Trails Day and National Public Lands Day, and we send out an email to our volunteer group when an opportunity arises. Opportunities include everything from poop scooping and trailhead cleanup to helping clear trails and weed spraying.

Pictures! Send us your favorite shots and we’ll use them on this site and social media.

Races! Volunteers have been the backbone of the Herron Half/10k/5k and the Foy’s to Blacktail Trail Marathon. If you’d like to help out please send us an email.
